Resistance is futile.

Do they get any cuter than this? Suzy Ultman is the designer of this group Critter Community for Robert Kaufman Fabrics. I know, I know, those owls just keep popping up and each one is cuter than the last. But Don't you love the hedgehogs and the lady bugs. Mice seen driving cars and foxes riding scooters

Do your children or grand children love Richard Scarry's Books? He published over 300 books and the Busy town series was his most famous. The fabrics pictured above arrived today and would be perfect for pillow cases and a little bedtime reading. If you want to reserve some yardage or have us make you some pillow case kits, just give us a call or e-mail me. I think these darling Busy town fabrics will sell out quickly. What is your favorite memory or character. I am loving the fox with the red beret riding the scooter, but it was hard to pick just one.

How to make your purses keep there shape

This product Soft and Stable was one of our great finds at quilt market this past spring. It was developed by Annie to use in place of batting and other stabilizers in purses, bags, totes and home dec items. It doesn't add any weight, but really helps purses to keep there shape. I used it in a Table runner, that I featured in one of my blog posts and can testify to how great it is. And one of the best benefits is how wonderful your quilting will stand out. We carry it in white and black and both ½ yard and 1 yard packages. Next time your in take a peek at it. The table runner is also at the store. I believe Annie also has a you tube video about using it in purses. Let us know if you give it a try and your thoughts.

Sneak peak of the new Bali Pops from Hoffman Fabrics

It won't be long now, so we thought we would give you a sneak peak of the 6 new bali pops from Hoffman fabrics that will be arriving shortly.
Starting on the top at the left is Blueberry, then cherry and my favorite watermelon at the bottom. On the right at the top is Key lime, then plum pudding and at the bottom coconut. Which reminded me a lot of the very popular cappuccino from the last batch. We have ordered quite a bit of the bolts from the bali pops , but they will not arrive at the same time. Give us a shout and we can reserve one or two for you. Watch here and on my face book and I will post the minute they arrive. Thanks for stopping by.

We love it when a plan works

This wonderful fabric Pernilla's Journey by Tina Givens called Elephant Run has been in our design thoughts for a while. It would make wonderful valances and we wanted to do a row by row quilt, but we settled for designing this pillow which we could finish. You know some times you have big ideas, but we love how it turned out and we hope you do to. Don't you think the rick rack is cute? I bet we auditioned 20 fabrics for the edge until we all agreed this was perfect.
