Lions and Tigers Oh My

These adorable new flannels have just arrived and these are only a small sampling of this new group with lions and zebras and polka dotted hippos even. Just to cute, so you will just have to stop in and see them all.

We are currently working on 3 new baby quilts, one is being quilted by our friend Mary Dittenber, and Patt is making one using the new Central Park by Kate Spain from Moda and the cute flannels above will be cut up tomorrow . Mary's model features the new beetle bug fabrics by Cloth Works.( all primary colors ) We will post a picture as soon as it is finished.

FYI; Please keep in mind when you purchase flannel that the average shrinkage is 4 inches per yard and it is not unusual for them to shrink to only 40 " wide. Better to be safe than sorry when figuring yardage.

Pom Pom De Paris by French General and a Minky Scarf

The new charm packs Pom Pom De Paris from Moda have just arrived. These wonderful fabrics inspired by rural antique french fabrics are the latest addition to the popular French General series. The noticeable change is the addition of sweet soft rosy pinks and little birds along with the fabulous soft reds and creams you have come to love with each collection.
Hope you love the scarf. The polka dot minky that we showed you yesterday is so soft and I used some quilt soup fabrics that were all the perfect colors for the other side. What a quick easy gift , I know you will want to make several. Stay warm and safe.

Minky Minky Minky

New Minky in the cutest prints has just arrived. Great for quick easy baby blankets, choose your 2 favorites (one for each side ) and add a little top stitching around the edges. Done!!!
Battting can be added ,but you don't have to.

I am working on several new projects. A quilt that is coming along slowly, a scarf I finished with the new minky, (I will post it tomorrow) and a pillow I am still designing in my head.
Isn't it amazing how a few good snow days can get those creative juices started. How ever before that happened I cleaned out a closet ,no kidding . Stay Warm!
