Big bad bear quilt

Today our customer Mary dropped in to share her finished quilt with us. To say the least we love it and truly appreciate all her hard work and many hours. She told us she has 80-90 hours in just the quilting and created her own design for the quilting after looking at many other bear paw quilts. I tried to get you a close up of her quilting in the bottom picture. Mary it is just wonderful and thank you for sharing your bid bad bear quilt with us.  Hope you love it too.

Cross- Terrain QUilt
I was perusing lots of quilt pictures and this one really appealed to me so I thought I would share it with you. The pattern is available through the Moda bakeshop free. I  love the colors, but I love scrap quilts too. Hope you enjoy it, what are some of your favorite patterns?

Summer House Place Mats.

I have been meaning to share these fun place mats with you, but it has been busy around here.
Carol from the staff has featured the fun Summer House fabrics by Lily Ashbury for Moda. The colors are so cheerful and it has been unusually hot around here so we are all thinking of summer way to early.
We have kits available that will make a set of four or yardage is available if you just gotta have it for your stash. Some times fabrics just say I need you don't they.

Meet Charlotte

Charlotte is our newest dress pattern from the Children's Corner pattern Company. The patterns come in sizes 1-4 and separately in sizes 5-8. You will love their patterns because each size is printed separately. . We are featuring Moda fabrics in our model, but we have so many darling fabrics in stock for little girls clothing. Mama Said Sew Fabrics

This is preview of a new group of fabrics by Sweetwater named Mama Said Sew for Moda. It will be delivered to shops in August or September. To say the least we where excited when we saw the color pallet. We can't wait for it to arrive.
So many cut polka dots and just not enough hours in the day to sew them all up. I hope you love it too.
Thursday we had a visit from our Moda rep Cheryl on the left. We just love her and she has a great laugh and thinks where funny. On the right is Lisa from the Moda home office . She has her very own blog http://modalissa.blogspot.com/. Give it a look, I always enjoy it. They showed us such great fabrics, we think the possibilities are endless.

Are you having a crazy busy week?

So much to do and so little time. We have been sewing and sewing and trying to finish up some new models to share with you. This fun quilt above is one that actually did make it to the finished category. I will be making kits shortly . The store was truly upside down today and I should have taken a picture but we had fun and met some nice ladies from Wisconsin too.

We love this pattern by Jaybird designs, "Taffy" and Friday we played with two sets of fabrics for a model. Our problem is we can't decide which set of fabrics we like the best.
