Pigs in bikinis and monkeys eating hot dogs.

I bet these fabrics made you smile a little bit. So let me explain why I love them so much. Whenever we go to quilt market some of our favorite booths are the fabric companies from Japan who are always featuring little wacky animal prints. These are the closest prints I have been able to find by an American company. They also usually have large heads in relation to their bodies. Personally the pig in the red bikini and the monkey eating the hot dog are hard to resist. Happy sewing and thanks for stopping by.

Around the world and back to Nebraska

Patt just finished this wonderful quilt that started with the adorable panel in the center featuring the continents. It is a little hard to see all the fun details , but there are clocks with time zones and flags for lots of countries from around the world. It would be a great learning tool as well as a fun quilt to share. The squares around the edge are of different major cities around the globe.
We have kits available, why not reserve yours today?
Thanks for stopping by.

Gentle Cabbage Rose Quilt

At long last I am very proud to show you my finished quilt. Some times I will sit on a pattern I love until just the right fabrics reveal them selves. The fabrics used here are a combination of Northcote Range by Cabbages and Roses and Puttin' on the Ritz by Bunny Hill Designs all for Moda. I was hoping to capture the sweet cottage look that never seems to go out of style.
Kits are available and a big thank you to Mary Dittenber who did a great job of quilting it just the way I wanted.
Hope you like it, the kit quantities are very limited. Thanks for stopping by.
