Patience is a virtue

Are you able to get back in your sewing rooms and start a new project? After sitting on this pattern for over a year I finally decided on my fabrics and sewed my heart out this past weekend. I am so pleased with the finished blocks and love how the Cabbages and Rose fabrics and the Puttin' on the Ritz fabrics ( all from Moda ) are combining to create a soft romantic look. I sewed the sashings on today and will be auditioning borders tomorrow.
Winter is a great time to sew and if you have been dreaming about a new quilt why not start now. Little ideas can turn into great finished quilts.

  1. Great blocks! So many bias seams. I'm sure these did require a LOT of patience! I especially love the red and gray block with the black and white stripe accent.

  2. Hi LeAnn,
I chose the border fabric today and will drop it off at the quilters on Monday. The block was not to bad as long as you press with care as it is easy to stretch all the bias edges out of shape. I will post a picture as soon as it is finished.
