Girls just wanna have fun

Our very fun customer Sharon Packard stopped by today and had some fun quilts to share. She is a little short so we had her stand on a chair to take this picture of her King size quilt. She said it is a Judy Neimeyer design and was paper pieced.
The quilting was done by her brother in law who lives in Grand Island and was just wonderful. This quilt is really , really big and heavily quilted.
Next she showed us this wonderful Rose of Sharon quilt. She just could not resist she said because of the name. That's her hiding on the left again. I told you she was short.
And then she pulled out this hand embroidered Santa quilt . Don't you love it. Sharon said the optional layout included using the churn dash blocks. Every one at the store liked her idea of putting some embroidery inside the center of the churn dashes.
So what have you been working on this winter?
Wow , I have been under the weather , but this was totally inspiring and just shows what can get done if we just stick with it.
Thanks for stopping by and thank you Sharon for sharing.
