Quilt Market in Portland Oregon teasers

We saw so many wonderful fabrics, patterns , books and ideas at quilt market this year.
Sue Spargo is one of my favorites and I was able to bring her new book Earth N' Twig back with me and
her Creative Stitching book.
Her fabrics from the Folkloric Bloom collection are also in stock.
(shown above in the quilt)

Ooops this was one of my many photo screw ups.
Walking those aisles and collecting brochures.

The rhododendrons where in full bloom and took your breath away.
It is so very lush and green. Truly a gardener's paradise.

At first this sculpture did not sink into my sleep deprived brain,
but the eggs and the chickens really made me smile.

Patt from the staff was my fun companion and deserves the title of Super Quilt Girl.
We trucked up and down the aisles for 3 days,
and saw way to much awesome fabric.

This cute little bag was made from our Noteworthy fabric by Sweetwater for Moda.
Don't you love the lime green zipper. Me too.
This is really a little bag, we have had this pattern and will reorder it shortly.

This is the floor and my purse at the Denver airport, another of my photos goofs.
We where up before 4:00 am to catch our flight home and sleep depravation was taking over.

Good news is we are home safe and checking in new merchandise, planning new models,
finalizing our plans for our Christmas in July. Stay tuned. Janeese
