Are you ready to try some thing fun with paint this Summer?
Then we might have just the idea,
We met the people from the Marabu Paint company from Germany this last fall at Quilt Market.
They had never marketed their product in the US before.
So my friend Cindy E and I decided to take there Shibori class.
Their paints have the most pigment in them all brands out there. And your fabrics will remain soft after they are applied.
We carry all the colors they make.
They recommend using them on 100% cotton and silk is also great. No more then 20% synthetic is what Marabu recommends.

They do require heat seating. This can be done with an iron or if you do some
tennis shoes you can bake the paint.
This is a picture of one of the techniques we tried.
So Cindy is now ready to spray paint her fabric.
Marabu has 3 blues they call their Shibori colors,
but you can use any of their colors.
The little strip we made was used for the binding and some of the pieces of my table runner.
Here is the finished Table runner using the Shibori fabric we made and some Batiks from the
Calico House.
We also have the pattern in stock for the table runner.
If you would just try some other projects with these great paints we have some
books to help you get started.
I am always glad to help so stop in.
We have several samples to see at the store using these paints.
