How do you find some color inspiration?

As I was walking through the farmers market in Napa California on vacation the colors of these flowers really made my heart sing. All those wonderful pinks , little touches of red and white and even that yellow bucket mixed together where inspiring.

When picking fabrics for a quilt , let natures colors provide a color theme , with one color as the star and some colors as accents or think of them as the supporting cast. Not every part in the play is as large as the others and not every fabric in your quilt will be in equal quantity. Nature can be a great source of inspiration for colors in your next quilt.
