We love this pattern by
Jaybird designs, "
Taffy" and Friday we played with two sets of fabrics for a model. Our problem is we can't decide which set of fabrics we like the best. So please help us by voting in the comments section below on which one you like. The top one is choice A and the bottom one is choice B. We will give away a Taffy pattern free by drawing from those who leave a comment . Drawing for the pattern will be on April 9th and we will post the winner on our blog.
Choice A
Choice B
Get your friends to vote too. Thank you , we really appreciate the help. We will also let you know which color combination recieves more votes.
Sorry we can only ship the pattern to a winner in North America.
Congratulations to Jen from Northborough Ma., she was the winner of the Taffy pattern and choice A won. But it was pretty close.
I think they are both awesome, but like the second one the best!
ReplyDeleteI like them both too, but I like 2 best.
ReplyDeleteCute pattern and fabrics, like both models. But think I like #2 best.
ReplyDeleteDefinitely #1!
ReplyDeleteTough call. I'd choose A.
ReplyDeleteI'd choose B, but I would change the aqua to a bright pink but that's just me.
ReplyDeleteI like A. The purple background makes the star points pop!
ReplyDeleteI like B best.
ReplyDeleteBoth are really pretty, but B seems brighter and more cheerful for such a fun set of fabrics.
ReplyDeleteI think A - it has more warmth than B, even though B has a sharper clarity it does have a cooler feel.
ReplyDeleteI like A. I agree that the star points pop more in the first version. I also love the aqua as a background!
ReplyDeleteTough choice - they are both great. A would be my choice, it pops!
ReplyDeleteI'm partial to the yellow/gold in choice A.
ReplyDeleteI would choose color choice A. I actually prefer B's colors more, however in this pattern I'm not sure the aqua and the white have enough contrast from a distance.
ReplyDeleteA would be my choice. The purple makes the rest of the block pop, versus B, which I think takes away from the design.
ReplyDeleteI love choice B.

I would pick the first quilt (quilt A). Although, I really like quilt B, too. I can't decide. How about both?
ReplyDeleteThe 1st has the most contrast. But over all I like 2 the best.

Opps meant B not 2.
ReplyDeleteI'm very drawn to B. Love the purple in the background.=)
ReplyDeletei think i'll go for B
ReplyDeleteI like B more. :)
ReplyDeleteIt's very difficult to decide as they are both very nice. But if I'm forced to decide I will I will opt for A.
ReplyDeleteI like A. The colors in the print pop with that combination.
ReplyDeleteI like B.
ReplyDeleteI like them both, but I think A stands out more. :)
ReplyDeleteI like the gold in A also; that is my choice.
ReplyDeleteI like them both, but I'm really drawn to the purple in B! Great idea to ask for advice.
ReplyDeleteHi Julie,
DeleteI wish the colors where a little more accurate in the photos but this is fun.And
we are excited to see which choice wins.
Janeese
Choice B, hands down. I'm not that crazy about the olive green. I like the white better.
ReplyDeleteI like B. The white is really going to pop when it is completed. You should just do both :) Thanks for the chance to win :) And have fun quilting!
ReplyDeleteI like the first one much better, I really love that fabric.
ReplyDeleteI like B the best!!
ReplyDeleteI think B looks the best!!!
ReplyDeleteI vote B!
ReplyDeleteI think A really pops!
ReplyDeleteI definitely like A over B, love the color combo..
ReplyDeleteI like A best. I think the aqua will make a great background when they are sewn together.
ReplyDeleteA is my choice.
ReplyDeleteDefinitely A. When you block up a bunch of them, the bright colors around the dark squares with the light "background" will look fantastic.
ReplyDeleteThanks for the Chance to Win..

DeleteThis has been fun and we are excited to see which choice wins. thank you for voting
Janeese
I like B the best. Blues and purples are my favorite!
ReplyDeleteChoice A for me, please! Great job with the Jaybird Quilts Taffy pattern. :)
ReplyDeleteI like Choice B the best :)
ReplyDeleteBoth are pretty but I like Choice B the best!
ReplyDeleteI choose A. I like the vibrant colors best. B washes out a little to me.
ReplyDeleteOhh, hard to pick but I think 'A'--although 'B' pops more so it depends on the final effect you are wanting..
ReplyDeleteGood luck choosing :)
It is B for me. Love this quilt. Can't wait to see yours!
ReplyDeleteI like A, I think it's the dark background of B that tilts me that way.
ReplyDeleteChoice A pops better.
ReplyDeleteHi Janeese! I saw the post on Jaybird Quilt's Facebook page that Calico House was having a Taffy contest. My first thought was, "that couldn't possibly be the Calico House I know" - and there you are! (Julie at Prairie Point Junction in Cozad - Tell Patt "hi" too). By the way, I like "B".
ReplyDeleteHi Julie,
DeleteI sent Patt an e-mail to say hi for you. Thanks for voting and letting us know about Jaybirds face book. Hope all is well with you.
Janeese
Colour A appeals most to me. Has more contrast from a distance.
ReplyDeleteI love the 2nd one. The color combo is very attractive.
ReplyDeleteI like them both also but If I had to chose one then I would go with A. Thanks for a chance to win!
ReplyDeleteThey're both beautiful, but Im more partial to A :)
ReplyDeleteBlock B...love them!
ReplyDeleteBlock A - more contrast with the purple
ReplyDeleteWow. Tough choice. They're both great looking but I realy love Block A with the colors they way you've shown.
ReplyDeleteI prefer choice B
ReplyDeleteI prefer A
