Do you need a fun summer batik Project?

Batiks are such a pleasure to sew with, they don't stretch and they have the most vibrant rich colors.
This is from a pattern called Chelsea's Summer Garden which is appropriate and I just finished it over the weekend. My echinacea's are blooming right now, but it is also very hot here and I can hardly keep up with the watering for all the container plants. Hope you are staying cool. Kits are available.
Thanks for stopping by.

Be sure to go over to and check out some other fun Sew Monday projects.

  1. That is cute. Reminds me of Pat Sloan's work.
