Fun Quilts we saw at AQS in Des Moines

This quilt was part of the tentmakers of Cairo Exhibit. Truly awe inspiring. They have books and
DVD 's available if you go to Des Moines.
The colors are stunning and they have many themes . I am so over whelmed to have seen them in person.

Many people ask me what to do with the large scale prints. I love the colors of Kaffe Fasset's fabric and loved this small quilt and their use of color in general.
Nice example of using those large prints.

This quilt features Marsha Derse's prints from her first set of fabrics.
I always watch for quilts that features her prints, because I love her fabrics.

From the Japanese Color and Form Exhibit.
Fun use of plaids and color in a very classic pattern.

This was a wonderful quilt, my picture does not do it justice.
I love color and am drawn to it like a moth to a flame.
This is a tiny fraction of the wonderful quilts and I take picture of quilts that intrigue me for various reasons.
Thanks for stopping by and hope you enjoyed this little peek of the AQS show in Des Moines.
