Building permit #16

As I write this post it is -8 degrees in Lincoln.
Great weather for staying home and hunkering down in our sewing rooms.

And today we are posting the last free pattern for 16th House block.
I hope you have enjoyed these patterns and will share your progress with
all of us.

#modabemyneighbor

I will be posting the directions for joining them together.

As I look back on 2016 I have started and finished many projects.
And I meet many people who are not quite sure what drives all of us
sewers and quilters.
For me it is my happy place and I never tire of all the wonderful fabrics.
The possibilities are endless .
l
Let me know what you love most about sewing and quilting with a comment.
For those that comment I will be giving away one new Carolyn Freidlander charm pack.
We  will draw  a random # for the winner.
The drawing will close on the 24th of December, 2016.

I thought I would share one of our best selling patterns.
It is in stock and ready for you to sew for your little dirt mover.

We will be having a skinny bolt sale starting December 26th -
through December 31st. You take all that is left on the bolt and recieve a
30% discount. Skinny bolts are 3 yards or less.

All Christmas fabrics will be on sale those same dates.

And we are closing New Years Eve at 2:00 o'clock.

Stay warm and cozy. I know your busy. Janeese

  1. I love just sitting in my happy place and sewing my brains out! I have fabric in my stash that I'm trying really hard to use up. I don't want my fabric to outlive me! LOL Thanks so much for posting these patterns!

  2. I started a new project yesterday. Love trying new combos of fabric and then falling in love with it. I also feel great when my kids(12 & 9) get out my old machine and sew their own projects. My daughter was so proud of herself in school when they had a sew a project and she knew how to do it. Need to work on hand sewing, but baby steps.
